Dinardo's expert staff uses the Juteau-Cantin Bike Fitting System to ensure that you achieve the proper fit on your bike. You will be 'in the right place' on your bike to increase comfort, reduce wear and tear on your joints and improve your ride efficiency.

THE BIKE FITTING SYSTEM

The Juteau-Cantin System provides Dinardo's expert staff with the tools to accurately take your measurements and determine what size of bike is required using a table of bike geometries. This will make certain that you get the right size and brand of bike to provide you with an optimum fit.

MEASURING THE RIDER

Dinardo's has the equipment on-site to take measurements and fit you on your bike. The system is based on a number of formulas that use your: Basic inseam measurement to determine seat height and frame size, and Forearm length to ascertain stem height and length.

CHOOSING THE BIKE

Using the system's table of bike geometries, Dinardo's staff will be able to recommend a specific combination of bike brand and frame size based on your measurements. One often overlooked detail is that bike brands fit people differently because of the design and sizes offered.

Because of these different geometrics, not all bikes will fit all body types. In addition to variables in size, bikes also have different frame angles, top tube lengths and clearance heights.

You can try bikes for feel — checking top tube length and stand-over height clearance. The key is for you to select a bike that is comfortable and will give you confidence. This is also why Dinardo's offers bike fitting and the 'Ride Before You Buy' service.

FITTING THE BIKE

Once the bike is selected, it will be placed on the system's bike platform. This will enable Dinardo's staff to take accurate measurements of the bike itself as well as your position on the bike and adjust it to your requirements to achieve optimum fit.

The system is an excellent starting point and further adjustments can be made based on your feel and comfort while sitting on the bike when it is on the platform.

Adjustments that can be made on the platform:

- handle bar stem height
- seat height
- seat setback
- cleat position (if req'd)
- alignment of knee over peddle
